Hello! My name is Dr. Krista Bacon (she/her), and I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in Vancouver, WA. I started Endeavor Psychology & Consulting because I’ve seen how transformative it can be when people gain clarity about themselves — not just their struggles, but also their potential. My approach blends compassion with professionalism, helping clients and families feel supported while receiving meaningful, practical insights.
As a first-generation college graduate and business owner, I know the importance of perseverance, resilience, and breaking patterns that no longer serve us. These experiences shape the way I approach my work: with curiosity, empathy, and a deep belief in people’s ability to grow.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Addiction Studies from Washington State University. From there, I completed my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Forensic Psychology at Pacific University’s School of Graduate Psychology.
My training gave me the chance to work in a wide variety of settings, including community mental health, forensic private practice, college counseling, and inpatient hospitals. I completed an APA-accredited internship with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, where I developed valuable skills working with individuals in both medium and maximum security prisons, as well as community corrections.
After graduate school, I sought out diverse postdoctoral training experiences. I worked in a forensic private practice conducting court-ordered parenting capacity evaluations in Oregon, completed a fellowship in consultation and program evaluation in Austin, TX, and trained in an APA-accredited fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in California. At Kaiser, I worked in the Maternal Infant Resilience program, a cutting-edge initiative where psychologists collaborated with medical teams and perinatal mothers to help prevent the intergenerational effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
